We are in the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) (Feast of Booths) week. It started last Sunday evening on October 13th and will end this coming Sunday evening on October 20th.
The purpose of this is so that God’s people will remember how the Father provided for their every need during our 40 year wilderness journey. Shoes and clothing did not wear out, and the Father provided manna for daily food, and when water was needed, He provided for that as well.
The Father will never allow His people to be completely destroyed. Even when we fail to obey Him, He will always provide a way for His mercy and grace to deliver us.
He keeps covenant with His people, not because of us, but because of Him.
Us gentiles are strangers in union with the children of Israel and the Creator God. We have chosen to worship and serve the God of Israel, Yahweh.
The covenant that God made with Israel also is extended to us that want God. His Messiah paved the way for us to fellowship with and walk with Father.
The God of Israel and the Messiah from Israel made us, and then bought us. If we have chosen Him as our God, then He has chosen us along side of Israel (but not replacing them).
